omg school has been kicking my butt lately but somehow i roped myself into writing about how i relate to hajime hinata for a "college essay" assignment at school and i really cant because one of my classmates has to read it and i have no idea who is going to be my partner because i have no friends to pair up with </3 and also i havent been able to work on my fic because ive been so stressed out ahhhh T-T at least now my counselor is trying to get me a prescription to deal with my anxiety/stress, but im not sure whether my mother will actually let me get it or not because she doesn't like doing that type of thing. and also on the topic of my mom, i told her that she never understands me because she doesn't listen to me, and then later i hear her talking about how ridiculous i am because she grew up too and was a teenager once like...HUH?? she didn't have to grow up and do school remotely during a pandemic?? she doesn't have the mental illnesses i struggle from?? so like??? i don't get it at all. and she tries to "excuse" all my issues and struggles with the fact that im a teenager like...that still doesnt make the pain im going through okay?? like maybe we should still try to look for solutions?? idk i just really wanted to rant about this somewhere. on a lighter note, i got the Mikorin figure ive wanted for years now and its so perfect and it makes me so happy! and i also got a Takao charm that is just so adorable!

🖤Sing "Yesterday" For Me - 6/10
This is a coming of age/romance type of anime, and it is well worth a watch! it takes a more "mature" approach, the majority of characters are well out of college. i really liked the journey of finding yourself and finding meaning in your life as well as a purpose, and i think the ending is the only thing that lessens that message. Also, there is one EXTREMELY questionable relationship between a student and his teacher. the two characters knew each other since they were kids, but i hated any scene with those two characters, it is very uncomfortable and hard to watch, and the ending the high schooler gets is not deserved at all. the high schooler is my least favorite character, he just sucks all around. the pacing is very slow, but it is very well done, except for the ending. i dislike the ending a lot, because it is rushed, but the rest of the episodes are beautiful! and dare i say, there is even a completely PERFECT EPISODE IN THIS SHOW!! Episode 5 - A Man Named Minato, is one of the best single episodes of a show i have ever watched! the relationship displayed in this episode is very sweet and i like the message and tone. i recommend watching this show just so you can see this episode, even if you stop watching it after that episode. the art style is also very pretty. Haru best girl.

💚Cute High Earth Defense Club Love! - 10/10
very funny anime about magical boys! its practically a parody of the magical girl genre, but it is really well done i think! the characters in it are very cute and have such good designs! the dynamics between them are also really good, i highly recomend because i never see anyone talking about this show! i also cried during the OVA finalle. the follow up series, Cute High Earth Defense Club Happy Kiss! isn't as good, it feels to rushed and one of the head writers for it had left for that season. i don't recoment watching happy kiss unless you want to see the cameo of the original cast. (in the second season, there is twincest like hikaru and kaoru from ohshc, just be warned)

💜Angel Beats - 10/10
this show is very very very good! the writing and character development is amazing, and once again im sad to see so little people hyping this show up! it has very good action scenes and the ending is absolutely wonderful. i went into this show expecting just some fun fights and battles, but the show goes in such a good and inspiring direction! all the characters are wonderful and memorable, and you WILL CRY watching this show, so good! my fav character is definitely yuri!

❤️Kuroko's Basketball - 9/10
It would be easy for me to give this a 10/10, but i really can't because of one character: Alex. Alex is one of the worst characters ever and I want to erase my memory of her, but if you just take her out of the show it is a 10/10, the best sport's anime I have seen! the dynamics between characters are so fun and interesting to watch play out, and the character development is just so extremely good, especially with the character Midorima. I love love the light/shadow dynamic between the two mc's, and they are one of the cutest duos i've ever seen, and the way their characters bounce off each other is so great! One of my most favorite shows ever, it's just so good! every basketball game is so interesting and i never wanted to stop watching it it's so good! they also do kinds have almost super powers, but everything is just so captivating and fun to watch. each character from the generation of miracles is interesting and are unique. One of my favorite games in the show is Kaijo vs Too, and Rakuzan vs Shutoku, but any game with Takao in it is amazing :).

🧡Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun - 10/10
One of my favorite shows ever!! its a comedy series about a high schooler mangaka, and the mc has a crush on him. the mangaka writes romance manga, but is very dense in real life. all the characters are so fun and put a spin on classic anime tropes. it is also very sapphic at times but it isn't fetishized. !! the girls in this show are very strong and have distinct personalities, which i really like (i have a big crush on each of the girls T-T) It is really funny to me and my fav episode is There Are Times When Men Must Fight. Mikorin gets a spotlight in that episode and it is just so fun! (also bakugo's japanese VA also does the voice for mikorin!!) i really really enjoy this show, and the ending may not be satisfactory for some, but for me i really enjoyed it. dynamics between characters are really good as well. Highly recommend!

💙Beyblade Burst - 10/10
This has always been one of my comfort shows, and I really really recommend it! it is meant for like, kids, but I really enjoy it as a teen, it never gets old for me! I love each of the characters, and they each have distinct personalities! the character designs are really fun and the battles are cool to watch! it has actually mad me cry sometimes, and the struggles characters have are very interesting to watch play out. I really like this show, and i want more people to talk about it with!

i'm in love with leon kuwata and wanted to ask if anyone else has headcannons for him!! i love him so much and would love to talk about him to anyone T-T
some of my headcannons:
🎤he uses strawberry shampoo so he smells like strawberries ><
⚾he likes sweet tarts and eats them during class
🎤he actually does have a good singing voice, but was told he didn't by people because they wanted him to give up on that dream
⚾(this one is more of my interpretation of his character but,,,)because all his life he was forced into playing baseball by the adults around him, he is more willing to change himself to fit what other people like (punk for hairdresser girl, actor for sayaka), and he is grows more comfortable with the punk culture and aesthetic because it is about straying from the norm and the box society puts you in
🎤once he got into Hope's Peak, he didn't feel as much pressure by his parents to play baseball, so he was able to fully explore himself, and realized he actually is comfortable with being punk (beyond seeking validation from the girl he likes) (he still wears punk style in the photos of class 78th in hope's peak b4 tragedy)
⚾he liked Sayaka for a long time, and she helped him become more comfortable with himself since she also has to fit a box for being an idol, and they became close friends who would confide in each other
🎤he as a phone case with an alien on it because he thinks its funny that hiro freaks out about it
⚾he is always very kind and compliments others because he wants them to feel the validation he always wanted
🎤leon is very protective of his friends who are girls because he realizes how girls are taken advantage of often, and he has seen his teammates do bad things to the girls they liked,
⚾he is scared of being perceived as "sleazy" or a "player" because of how he tries to date girls for validation from them, and also because of his constant rejection of k*non, who he fears he is being "too nice to", and fears that he might be leading her on by being too nice
🎤leon is always the one to invite class 78th to sleepovers and parties, and really enjoys playing baseball with them because it is with people he is comfortable with
⚾he also plays basketball,
🎤he likes sailor moon and his fav character is Sailor Mercury because she is intelligent and kind
⚾he plays with beyblades >:)
🎤helps others dye their hair, has tried to die some of Taka's hair while he slept (he is good at dying hair guys he literally dyed his beard :D)
⚾he wears deodorant guys, (i've seen so many people hc him as stinky T-T he literally hates dirty/smelly dudes ahhhhh)
🎤uses cologne that smells like sandalwood, but that scent is overpowered by the insane amounts of strawberry shampoo he uses to keep his hair nice
⚾Byakuya uses blueberry cologne and Leon finds it funny, but Byakuya points out that he also smells like a fruit T-T
🎤he admires Byakuya a lot because of his intelligence, ambition, and success at doing what he wants (being a successful heir to Togams corp)
