it absolutely is. i was fighting stiff during my first spar until my friend gave me a nice hard punch straight to the temple; knocked the nerves right outta me. i'd hate to think what would've happened in a real fight if i hadn't experienced that

well, the exams are every four months or so until you reach a certain rank, in which case the time begins to grow, so i guess you're right. as for the combat training, it's all full contact sparring baby B) we've got protective gear of course, but the teacher just pairs us up regardless of rank and gives us three minutes to duke it out. it's very good for mental conditioning i feel, as you get experience and grow comfortable in conflict

oh, the second exam went great! my next exam should be some time this august. on the topic of taekwondo, since the exam my other mates and i got vaccinated so we've started doing combat training! i hadn't done it before so it was very nerve-wracking at first, but after taking a few hits i got over it quick

I haven't actually started practice driving either, everybody's been hesitant to let me ride around for a bit which is understandable but it kinda bums me out. I'm mainly trying to learn to drive because it's practically a necessity, but giving pals a couple joyrides also sounds fun :D
