some more Brain Troubles™ i have

i love looking through people's pages, it's almost like that's the entire point of the site

but a good amount of the time, instead of inspiring me, it discourages me

like, i won't be able to get to the level of skill others have anytime soon

by the time i do learn, everyone has stopped coming back here.
or most likely the site shut down

bitching about problems won't fix them, but acknowledging they exist is the first step.

also i found out that there is a blog post limit. when/if i hit that, i'll start an archive of blog posts that were deleted to make space

I totally get that. Looking at people's art discourages me in much the same way. When I came to this site I didn't know a lick of CSS either. I watched the tutorial video in the css editor and I almost exclusively learned by looking at other pages with inspect element. From there I usually copied the code and fiddled with it until I understood how it worked and could make my own and use it. Getting discouraged is a problem I don't know how to work around tho.
