Rundown of Palms

Hey!! I think I mentioned on my profile and if I havent, Ill add it, I have a big thing for palms LOL.

Here's a rundown of general run of the mill facts:
Palm trees are actually a type of grass and not a tree thus dont show any inner rings and are the same inside and out.
The largest palm is the wax palm growing up to 200ft.
The palm trees in Los Angeles aren’t natural and are purely there for ornamental purposes, the 1932 World Olympics are sometimes credited for being the reason palms are planted nearly everywhere.
Only two types of palms produce fruit (that is edible, atleast) and that is the coconut palm (cocos nucifera) and the date palm. The Sago Palm is poisonous.
