people need to stay out of discourse/discussions that they dont belong to. i'm so tired of seeing minorities being spoken over because 'allies' are speaking for them and trying to virtue signal instead of shutting the fuck up and listening to what minorities have to say. this applies to literally any minority right now.
what specifically awoke this in me was having my experiences as an enby lesbian be invalidated by cis non-lesbians who have never and will never experience what i and other lesbians have. you're not enby, you're not lesbian, so why are you telling me how /I/ should be experiencing my own gender and relationship to womanhood?? (i could go on about this for hours)
also i just watched a cis person tell a trans person what pronouns they could use because according to this cis person, using it/its pronouns is inappropriate and they would know because they have a trans friend whose mother wont use their preferred pronouns.
i've gotta stop fighting people in tiktok comments but i'm just so heated about it right now. i just needed to vent, shoutout to anyone who read this far
SP4RKL3D0GG13 | 1607588828000 fat agree. I see SOOO MANY cis people argue with transphobes and its so infuriating to watch. they act like we can't fend for ourselves, and more often than not speak as if we aren't there. |
androgynousAsshole | 1607623254000 Im also an enby lesbian and i understand completely how you're feeling. Idk why people can't just mind their business and let people live their lives when its something as harmless as this. |

Crybaby | 1607581903000 totally valid! Allies are nothing more than that, allies. When it's time for the minorities to speak the role of an ally is to listen and boost what's being said. Allies don't speak in place of the oppressed. You are heard <3 |
