So you know all these shitty Windows 95 loading screens that used to be on random profiles? If you tried to visit someone's profile, there's a chance you had to wait a few seconds for their loading screen, overlaying the entire profile, to finish. If you tried to go thru random profiles by spamming the random button, you know how annoying it is. It obstructs the top navigation bar too, so you can't just press Random again to go to another profile during those 5 seconds of pointless loading.
Truth is, all of these are part of one css. And even better, they are imported from a github repository. What this means, is that instead of copying the entire css containing the loading screen into your profile, you just put "@import(link to css)" on it. This allows for the creator of the css to update it at will, and it will update on every profile using it at once. Now, it was hosted on Github. This is a site to store open-source projects and you can suggest changes to code, or in this case the CSS that everyone is using, on it. You see where this is going? I created a request to remove the loading screen. After about a week of waiting, he approrved the change. It was now changed on every single profile. Every profile using the Windows 95 loading screen has been automatically updated to no longer have it. Loading screen is gone forever. I did it. I win.
