ALRIGHT SO. first things first, psychology exam went quite well, if i do say so myself. glad i rambled to the void about pavlov's dog, i don't think i would have remembered it if i didn't.

now, about the void

i've never seen gravity falls, but that could possibly be it... i tried yelling into the void for a response, but nothing happened.
I played it some music, it was quiet for longer. I think it likes music? I dunno, but I'll keep playing it music. From afar, of course; I don't wanna lose another fucking speaker.

actually! something interesting did happen!

I was out getting groceries (safely) earlier today, and all the noise made me start to panic. it was crowded or whatever and i couldn't breathe, but then i started like... hearing the void?

I've described the screaming before, and how it's not really loud and it's just kinda there. it doesn't drown anything out. but i didn't hear the talking around me anymore. just the void.

i mean, my brother's been telling me not to spend too much time with it, but i think there's more to this little void than i'd first assume. If Z0mbieDad is right, maybe someone down there is trying to get out? maybe they're trying to send a message of some kind?

my gut tells me this thing isn't dangerous. but i dunno, everyone else seems to think otherwise. plus what am i supposed to do, call the police? on a void? i don't think they could do anything.

so... yeah. what now? do you guys have any idea what this means???

So... it's still there. I've noticed the noise it makes bothers everyone else, like when my partners came over, Haun said it grated their ears, and Ske said it was so loud they couldn't think.

Funny enough, despite all the sound my sleep has actually been getting better! I hate the silence, and even though it's a little bothersome the void's been there to fill the.... void... auditory void... yeah.

i've got psychology exams tomorrow, so i've been a little busy with studying for that. I've taken a liking to sitting by the void, and rambling to it about representativeness heuristic and availability heuristic or whatever. It's nice.

The Muffin Man suggested a speaker for when the noise becomes too much.

okay! so we are Not Doing That Again.

The thing just fucking??? ate the speaker??? I just sat nearby to watch, and when it started making that noise again i turned the bluetooth on, and i didn't even get a chance to play anything before it just. swallowed it.

That speaker was *30 FUCKING DOLLARS MAN. i mean i know i've been told that material possessions aren't worth the soul and all but damn, i spent my hard earned cash on that shit like a week ago.

funny enough though, that was enough to keep it quiet for like 24 hours. so uh. how'd you figure that one out, muffin man? but i'd rather scream than give it more speakers, i can't waste my money like that.

Which i actually kinda like. And no, I have like one stick of butter left that i'm saving for making cookies, i'm not gonna feed it that......

yeah... i don't know how it got here.

i just heard a loud wailing from outside and there it was, just. screaming, i guess? i sat next to it for a while, the noise isn't bothersome or super loud, it's just there. i can hear other things over it, like when my brother asked me why i was sitting next to it i could hear him perfectly fine.

my first thought was maybe that it was hungry?? so i dumped some ramen into it, but i don't think it liked that because it only stopped the wailing for a moment. i was told i should try yelling back at it, and when i did it stopped wailing for a few hours, so i think that's what it likes to eat??

yeah. i dunno. I was telling Clown_Lord about it, and they suggested giving it a name.

I'm... not sure about Bastoid, that seems kinda mean :( i think I should just call it "it" or "void" for now. i dunno if it'll like being called anything else... and I'm scared to find out.

If any of you guys have any idea of what I'm supposed to do (or if you have name ideas, i guess) let me know please. it kinda sucks having to get up late at night to scream so it's quiet again. not that i really mind the screaming, it's just a little annoying to explain when friends come over.
