I understand kids don't understand that's why when someone says its a yaoi I tell them it isn't but the thing is adults and teenagers who ae like 18 are telling these kids "its a yaoi" and stuff and its just disappointing
Plus the fetishization of gay men is like all around even older people fetishize gay men as if its normal
im fine with my friends reading bl but if they fetishize gay men I just drop em tbh

I wonder who draws such toxic comics... Don't they think for a second? I think we should also critize creators at this point. To make a story good, they don't have to come up with fucked up characters with extreme sexual trauma. You can't compansate for the lack of skill, good plot and story depth if you put criminal sexual acts and normmalize them. You can't create deep characters with normalizing abuse....

The rape issue goes for all kinds of pornography. I don't like seeing a woman almost choking in porn. Or getting raped, slapped... I read romantic yaois with sex scenes. In fact, my fav is friends becoming lovers. So warm for me. Do I fetishize gay couples is a good question. If i find good hetero webtoon/manga/comics, sure I read it. My focus isn't gay couples (yuri-yaoi) yet there is plenty of it.

I mean, I've SEEN 13 year olds reading it. WTF?
