Japanese tips

Ok so can any one spill some good tips for studying Nihongo at home. Im learning Japanese at school but like i need to study at home and its low key daunting so can anyone helps me out. Im mainly just needing resources and study tip so any would be appreciated ありがとうございます.

check if there r any japanese curses available in your area
you don't have to attend them if you don't want to (I recommend it tho) just aks the sensei about any tips, which books they recommend etc. they're usually helpful but depends on the person, I attanded the coure for a year & now I'm learning from books mostly
