should i shave my head

ive been wanting to shave it for a while, and like it wouldn't be like BALD bald but like a buzz cut but a bit longer. i asked my mom and she said no bc "i was having a mental crisis" but i legit want to do it to look more androgynous. if i ask my parents there gonna say no, so id have to do it by myself which is kinda scary cause I'm not showing up to school looking like shit. my aunts uncles and sisters all want me to do it but I'm like REALLY scared that ill hate it but i also feel like i wont.
