There's 8 angels in the hierarchy of Christian angels. I'm tired of people saying that all the angels are terrifying wheels and fire that have to yell "FEAR NOT" every time they see a human. I mean, wouldn't you be scared if there was a glowing dude in your living room?

I wrote this damn blog once and I have to rewrite it bc it timed out when I tried to upload.

LOWEST ORDER, 3RD SPHERE

Angels:

Angels are the lowest of the lowest sphere. They are the ones that speak to humans and are regularly hanging around earth. They are either depicted as humanoid with wings and halos or just balls of light. These are one of the only angels you will ever see, the rest don't touch any celestial bodies ever.

Archangels:

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel.." Archangels are important angels, and they are also depicted as humanoids. Only 3-8 archangels have names but a lot of orthodox religions say there's over 1000. Catholicism says that there's only 3: Gabriel, Michael, and Raphael. They are the chief angels, even though they are only mentioned like 3 times in the bible.

MIDDLE ORDER, 2ND SPHERE

Powers:

Powers are the angels that control and restrain evil forces. They do a good job, give em praise. They are probably beings of pure light, but you can argue that they're also humanoid.

Virtues:

Virtues are angels that cause miracles and show the people signs of god. Almost all the lower angels are humanoid or balls of light. That's all they really do, they're pretty important though.

Dominions:

This is the start of the angels you will never see, even if you're the holiest person alive. These angels rule over all the lower angels, from the angels to the virtues. They regulate everything the lower angels do and don't really have a form since they don't make themselves shown.

HIGHEST ORDER, 1ST SPHERE

Thrones:

Thrones are the seats of god. These are the angels that the weirdcore chaoscore, traumacore, whatevercore ppl LOVE. They are either depicted as chariots, seats, or the giant flaming wheel with a baby in the middle. God rests upon the back of these angels, and god uses them as a steed.

Cherubim:

These angels are most commonly mixed up with Pluttos, those lil baby angels that fly around. They have 2 sets of wings and 4 faces: one of a lion (wild animals), a bull/ox (domesticated animals), a human (humanity), and an eagle (flying animals). It was said that satan was a cherubim. Cherubs look after god's throne and guard the garden of Eden. They have a lot of jobs, and have seen god's face. According to judasim, there are only 2 cherubim, they are described as humanoids with wings, one's male and the other's female, and they sit on opposite ends of the Mercy seat. The mercy seat is the lid of the Ark of The Covenant.

Seraphim:

The final order of angels, and the closest to god. These angels surround god and chant praises to him, according to Christianity. They are constantly on fire, have a face in the center, and occasionally have hands and a voice. They are cool angels, and constantly chant "Holy! Holy! Holy!" as in the holy trinity. They're the only beings that have seen god's face multiple times and haven't had a lovecraftian type death or somethin.

Anyways, that's really basic angelology. It's still cool, though.

Mirrors have always had a massive folklore around them. It's said mirrors contain your soul, and if you break a mirror you break your very soul. It takes 7 years for your soul to renew, hence 7 years of bad luck. That's an old roman belief. Reflective surfaces can also be used in divination. Divination with mirrors is called captromancy. Since there's so much superstition against mirrors, of course there's tons of supernatural mirror games. Here's a few:

Bloody Mary:

God, a total classic. Easy set up, all you need is a dark room and a mirror. All you westerners must've played this a lil chick huh? I remember fondly my sister putting me into the bathroom to do it and I didn't want to act like I was scared so I played cool and barely did it, but inside I was shivering in my boots. Anyways, all you have to do is spin around and chant "bloody Mary" 3 times. Then Bloody Mary steals your soul or something, there's tons of different endings depending on the person you ask.

Candyman:

Who can make the sun rise? Sprinkle it with dew? Anyways, Candyman has a really dark folk story to it, and i'll let you find that one for yourself. You know they used real bees for the Candyman movie and the Candyman actor got 1,000 for every sting? All you need is a dark room and a mirror, again. All you do is look in the mirror and say "candyman" like 5 times. Then the Candyman kills you or something. Again it changes all the time.

3 Kings:

Finally, some variety... You'll need a lot for this one so hang on tight. First you need 2 people. Here's a material list:

• A dark room
• some candles, 4 is good.
• a lighter
• a container of water
• a drinking cup
• an electric fan, a table one is fine.
• 2 large mirrors
• 3 chairs
• an alarm clock
• a fully charged cellphone for both people
• and an object near and dear to your heart

set up:

Start setting up at around 11, 10 at the earliest. Place 1 chair in the center of the room, facing north. Place the 2 other chairs on the left and right of the center chair. They should be about an arms-length away from the center chair. Place the 2 mirrors on the chairs on the left and right, the mirrors should be facing you. You should be able to see your reflection without turning you head to the sides. There should be only 2 reflections, for a total of 3 kings. Place the mug and bucket far away in front of you, and place the fan behind you and turn it on. turn off all the lights, leave the door open, and go to your bedroom. set the candles , lighter, and the alarm clock next to your bed. set your alarm for 3:30 am (oo spooky time) and go to bed with your dear object.

execution:

wake up at 3:30, and immediately go to work. turn off the alarm but don't turn on the lights. Grab your dear object as well. you have 3 minutes to light the candle, grab your phone, and go sit down in your throne. you should be seated by 3:33 am (oo spooky number). Don't look into the mirrors, and protect the lit candle with your life. What happens seems to change with the person. You either get your questions answered or you die or you see ghosts or something I don't know.

dangers:
If:

• you did not make it to the seat by 3:33 am
• the fan is off when you enter
• your phone isn't charged or is about to die
• the door to the mirror room is closed
• something bad happens or something I dunno lol

Then exit the room and go to a hotel or something, sleep in your car. There be ghosties and ghoulies. Take this with a grain of salt it is a creepypasta after all. I personally don't think it will work, but believing in ghosts makes them more likely to appear.

Have fun lookin in mirrors and getting attacked by ghosts lololol. I usually prefer to cover games with richer histories than creepypastas or sleepover tricks, but it's fun to look at sometimes. Ghosts aren't assured, but if you believe in one than you might get what you want.

100 stories is an old Buddhist-inspired game that was real popular during the edo period of Japan. The game is about a group of people telling 100 stories in total, and hopefully summoning a ghost !

set up:

First, gather a group of friends. You can't play this game alone, the minimum amount of people needed is 2. The rooms have to be almost pitch black, so play at night. Grab a candle for each person playing, and grab a table. Put a small mirror on the table. Historically, this game was played in 3 rooms, with the person who told a story walking into the 3rd room, going back to the 1st room, and looking into the mirror on the table.

How to play:

Each person takes a turn telling a supernatural story in the circle. When they are done, the extinguish their candle and listen to the other person's story. Or they can do the trek into the 3rd room, and look into the mirror in the 1st. When it's a person with an extinguished candle's turn, they relight their candle and tell another story. The stories have to get scarier as time goes on, the 100th story has to be real horrid.
The stories can be personal accounts, folklore, or just something you made up. Once the 100th story has been told, all the candles need to be extinguished. What you do afterwards is up to you, but just know you might've gotten the attention of somethin.

I've fallen so deeply in love with Critters For Sale by Sonoshee. I love everything about it, the art style is so unique, the humor is nonsensical and makes me laugh, and everything else is so great. I recommend this game so much if you like absurd stuff.

   Cryptworlds is one of my favorite games ever, I love it to bits. I highly recommend it because it's what got me into weird games in the first place.
