wired sounds for wired people is sorta a fansite for the anime Serial Experiments Lain (which i love and made kinda the motif of my page).

i think people mainly reference WSfWP and use its art assets because they're just animated Lain assets. personally i think the site and its assets are sorta overrated, and don't really represent the meaning or aesthetic of Lain, so i dont use their assets for the most part. not to mention that most 'lain fans' on myspace use their assets, making their pages feel kinda same-y. compare users alexine and samael palace pages to see how use of WSfWP assets makes identical pages.
