Last Minute

Sun on my face
the feeling of grass under my feet
and a light breeze making my body shiver
but the noise
the noise is loud
Bang
Bang
Bang
I fear opening my eyes
and seeing the world swim in red
that the numb feeling
that is covering my body
will float away
and that sheering pain will take over
I want to cherish the feeling of freedom
until my death
