This is not a question but I will still answer. I haven't been a part of recent gay culture and I hope you forgive me for not understanding what "brand" of gay meant. (my original answer still rocks tho)
I find that I enjoy the company of artistic people the most, so I have to choose "art" as my favorite brand of gay

I have never delved into the stories of past Presidents of the United States so I am unaware of (funnily enough) the politics relating to this specific person. This does not mean that I will avoid the question. The question was whether or not I "like" John Fitzgerald Kennedy. I am interpreting "like" in this situation not as romantic, not as platonic but as pure opinion of him. My answer?
He was an iconic man, he had an iconic voice and he met a cruel demise. I like John F. Kennedy.

This is a good question, although a dangerous one. I believe that I should not pick favorites with sexualities or consumerism. The safest (cop-out) answer here would be to say that every brand of gay is equal in my eyes but that would be strikingly boring of an answer. I did say that I wanted my answers to stand out, didn't I? (yes I did)
