DAVEKAT TIMELINE I MAKE THE RULES

DOES THIS BELONG ON THE INTERNET? NO BUT I JUST FINISHED WATCHING DAVEKAT LYRIC VIDEOS AND I HAVE BRAINROT

• so at Some point during during meteorstuck karkat proposed moirailship and dave was just like sure dude whatever. dave starts hanging out with terezi a lot because he's realizing Hm, I Am Not Hetersexual? and he's running away from his feelings because he's dave. and of course karkat saw that as dave feeling red for terezi which upset him because at this point he wanted to be closer to both of them.

• after a while of that karkat is really worried about dave and he pulls out the therapy chair and everything. and dave eventually opens up to him in his stupid jokey manner that he feels alone because he thinks hes gay and hes not sure what to do. because trolls technically only have one "sex," karkat doesnt really understand why dave thinks its such a big deal and he probably says something stupid.

• karkat def likes dave at this point and starts trying to get dave to talk about his Gay so maybe he can drop a hint. dave takes this as karkat making fun of him, because knowing karkat thats probably what it was. theyre both embarassed and dave starts spending a lot of time with terezi again, who picks up that Something Happened.

• terezi talks to both dave and karkat and basically forces them to make up. karkat has had his good old Character Development now and he tries talking to dave again. karkat tries to apologize and just ends up confessing to dave. even Cool Dave has to have feelings at some point so he says something like "yea i actually like you too haha isnt that crazy" and karkat proposes matespritship. dave agrees.

• they then proceed to attack each other and call each other idiots for not realizing their own feelings sooner and bam THAT is what happened.

• *dave asks karkat to keep it a secret, but karkat is a big emotional mess and probably had a lot of trouble with that. this was towards the end of meteorstuck, which is why dave felt it was important to ask dirk how he came out to his friends, because if he didnt, karkat would do it for the both of them.
