Risk

And then the day came,
when the risk
to remain tight
in a bud
was more painful
than the risk
it took

My thoughts: Taking a risk can be scary and stepping out
of your comfort zone can be something you
would never want to do, but the idea of staying where
you are with no change is even scarier. Do you want
every day to feel the same? Killing yourself with boredom and for what?
