You all know the DeLorean. It's a nice looking, stainless-steel vehicle that was introduced in the early 1980s. It was used in the movie Back to the Future as a time machine, which is the only thing this car is associated with.

Well lemme tell you something: it was a flop. The DeLorean was painfully slow, and it wouldn't even reach 88 miles per hour. The car was difficult to be kept clean and the stainless steel panels needed constant polishing. People also didn't like the design of the car. The car itself didn't even make it to 1985, when Back to the Future was made. The DeLorean Motor Company declared bankruptcy in 1982.
Despite this failure, the DeLorean is still remembered as an iconic vehicle. Maybe it's because of either the gull-wing doors and futuristic design or being a time machine, or both. Even I think it's a nice looking vehicle.
