-what are pronouns?-
a pronoun is a word used to refer to someone, everybody has pronouns, but it is mostly used by the transgender community.
she/her, he/him, they/them, xe/xem, she/they, he/they etc are all pronouns. example "woah have you seen hannah's new dress? it looks amazing on her!"
-they/them pronouns explained-
some of you might be thinking "but they them pronouns are not singular pronouns!" well you are actually wrong, they/them is used when you do not know somebodies gender, example: "somebody left their wallet in the park, i will give it back to them later." anybody can use they/them pronouns, but it is commonly used by the non binary community.
-what are neopronouns?-
neopronouns are basically just pronouns, but they're mix and matched up to whatever the person if comfortable with. examples of neopronouns are xe/xem, ze/hir, fae/faer, it/its etc. remember, just because you're not used to neopronouns, does not give you an excuse to mock them, mock people who use them. example: "vinnie just got out of the hospital, call xem to see if xey are okay."
or another example: "alyssia needs help on faer math homework."
please respect everybodies pronouns, it's not that hard :)))
