My top 5 anime!
5- Violet Evergarden
It's an anime about a young girl who's lost both her arms in the war and now writes letters. It's an incredibly sweet story that shows her sad past and of many others, Violet Evergarden made me cry a lot ngl.
4- Death Note
A highschool student, Light Yagami, finds the Death Note, a notebook that kills whoever's name is written in it. It dosen't sound all that interesting, but it's really fun to watch the police try to catch Light while he makes his own plans to avoid getting caught.

3- Spirited Away
This one's a film from Studio Ghibli, a really well known anime studio. I don't know how to explain this one without ruining the surprises that come with watching it blindly, but just so you know, it's won a ''Best Animation'' Oscar award!
2- Great Pretender
A series about a group of scammers who travel to world to make filthy rich people go bankrupt with their well planned scams, but they only do that to evil people. It's a really underrated show with really interesting characters and so many plot twists, I truly recommend it!

1- A Silent Voice ($uicide TW)
In the mood to sob a whole lot? Then I've got the thing for you! It's film created by Kyoto Animation about an introverted highschool student as he tries to redeem himself by becoming friends with the deaf girl he bullied in 5th grade. An incredibly sad movie that probably made me cry, it tackles subjects like suicide/depression, as well as social isolation.
