Joe and Sav are the only two original remaining members. Tony was replaced by Rick, who lost his left arm in a car accident in 1985.
Pete was fired in 1982/1983 due to his alcoholism and heavy use of drugs. He was fired in the making of "Pyromania". He was replaced by Phil Collen, the former guitarist of a band called Girl with the help of Steve Clark. Phil and Steve were referred to as the Terror Twins.
Steve died in 1991 due to drug overdose and alcohol. Phil wanted to leave the band when Steve died, but his bandmates stopped him from leaving.
Vivian was put in place for Steve. Vivian is the former guitarist of a couple bands, which are Whitesnake and Dio.
